have you checked out your local 2nd hand shops? salvatoin army, goodwill someplace like that. i've found some great deals and nice stuff at these places. good luck and happy shopping.

If you want one that is used or slightly damaged in some way (not noticeable all the time) then you can check at your bigger furniture stores. A lot of them have a bargain basement where they sell things that have been brought back or scratched or somewhere. If you are looking for new stuff then check out stores online. If you go to wal mart online they generally have a lot of stuff there that isnt available in stores, and its cheap.

well i don't know about links, but you can go to garage sales, and look in the newspaper. thats what my parents do!

Used office furniture stores- also check salvation army and goodwill. We used a (painted in oil based paint) hollow core door on 2 file cabinets for my sons room. All the cords go up thru the hole for the door knob. It ran less than 100.00 and looks very clean. He also has drawing space.
